And I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion — and with Him a hundred and forty-four thousand, having His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.
And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of loud thunder. And the voice I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps.
And they sing, as it were, a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn the song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.
These are the ones who have not been defiled with women — for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been redeemed from among men — firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
And in their mouth no lie was found. They are blameless.
And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth — and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people —
saying with a loud voice: "Fear God, and give Him glory — for the hour of His judgment has come. And worship the One who made the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and the springs of waters."
And another, a second angel, followed — saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great — she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality."
And another, a third angel, followed them — saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
he himself also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God — which is mixed full strength in the cup of His anger. And he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. And they have no rest day and night — those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
Here is the steadfastness of the saints — those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' " "Yes," says the Spirit, "so that they may rest from their labors — for their works follow with them."
And I looked, and behold, a white cloud — and on the cloud was sitting One like a Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out of the temple, calling out with a loud voice to the One sitting on the cloud: "Send Your sickle, and reap — for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe."
And the One sitting on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth — and the earth was reaped.
And another angel came out of the temple in heaven — also having a sharp sickle.
And another angel came out of the altar — the one who has authority over the fire — and he called out with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth — for her grapes are ripe."
And the angel swung his sickle to the earth, and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth — and threw them into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
And the winepress was trodden outside the city. And blood came out of the winepress, up to the bridles of the horses, for a distance of about two hundred miles.
