"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of the One who holds the seven stars in His right hand — the One who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
I know your deeds, your toil, and your steadfastness — and that you cannot tolerate evil men. You have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and have found them to be false.
And you have steadfastness, and have endured for My name's sake, and have not grown weary.
But I have this against you: that you have left your first love.
Therefore, remember from where you have fallen — and repent, and do the deeds you did at first. Otherwise, I am coming to you, and I will remove your lampstand out of its place — unless you repent.
But you have this in your favor: that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches: To the one who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God."
"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the First and the Last — the One who was dead, and has come to life:
I know your tribulation and your poverty (yet you are rich) — and the slander of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, so that you may be tested. And you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches: The one who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death."
"And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of the One who has the sharp two-edged sword:
I know where you live — where Satan's throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith — even in the days of Antipas, My faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.
But I have a few things against you: you have there those who hold to the teaching of Balaam — who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
So you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans, in the same way.
Therefore repent — or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will wage war against them with the sword of My mouth.
The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches: To the one who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. And I will give him a white stone — and on the stone, a new name written, which no one knows but the one who receives it."
"And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God — whose eyes are like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze:
I know your deeds — your love, faith, service, and steadfastness — and that your latest deeds are greater than the first.
But I have this against you: that you tolerate the woman Jezebel — who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and seduces My bondservants to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
I gave her time to repent — and she does not want to repent of her immorality.
Behold, I am throwing her on a sickbed — and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds.
And I will kill her children with pestilence. Then all the churches will know that I am the One who searches the minds and hearts — and I will give to each of you according to your deeds.
But to you I say — to the rest in Thyatira who do not hold to this teaching, who have not learned 'the deep things of Satan,' as they call them — I am laying no other burden on you;
only hold fast to what you have, until I come.
And the one who overcomes, and who keeps My deeds until the end — to him I will give authority over the nations.
And he shall rule them with a rod of iron — as vessels of pottery are shattered — just as I also have received from My Father.
And I will give him the morning star.
The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
