The biblical law of cause-and-consequence in moral and spiritual life. Galatians 6:7-8: Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. The principle is observable in nature (the agricultural reality) and pronounced as moral law in Scripture (Job 4:8; Prov 22:8; Hos 8:7; 2 Cor 9:6). It is not karma — Christian sowing-and-reaping operates under grace and final judgment, not impersonal cosmic balance. But within God's ordering of moral reality, what is sown matters: be not deceived is Paul's warning to those who imagine they can plant flesh and harvest spirit, or sow sin and reap blessing. The harvest comes. It always comes.
