Definition

Tamim means complete, whole, blameless, or without blemish. It appears about 90 times. It describes sacrificial animals without defect, Noah and Abraham walking blamelessly before God, and the perfection of God's law and works.

Usage & Theological Significance

God's works are tamim (perfect). His law is tamim (perfect). Sacrifices must be tamim (without defect). God calls His people to walk blamelessly before Him. Ultimately, only Christ is perfectly tamim, the Lamb without blemish, and He makes believers blameless through faith.
