Dictionary>Well, the weather definitely has not been our friend recently, and I didn't get to go fly tonight because of it. It actually cleared up later which I thought it would do, but 265 decided to cancel early, and as a result I got to go home early. So showing up late and going home early, I guess I can't complain too much.
I found an Okinawa Marine (the island Marine Corps Newspaper) and took a picture out of it to upload to the blog. This was several weeks ago, but it's my aircraft at an LZ we call Fire Base Jones. A long time ago when they could shoot artillery in the norther
n training area, they used this spot. Basically a cut out at the top of a ridge line. Pretty cool picture. If you want to see the whole article go to http://www.okinawa.usmc.mil.
