Well the last time I wrote a post I was getting off a C-17 in LA, and that trip was awesome, but I failed to capture the details here. I guess that's what happens when we get busy living life.
I also get wrapped up in the need to include pictures or links in these, so I just dont write. Right now I'm the busiest I've been in 2 years at my current squadron – 3 evaluation flights in a row in the WHHAC syllabus and I've got the 4th tomorrow (every flight is an evaluation in this syllabus) BUT, it's times like these when I rely on God's grace and a lot of prayer.
So this is pretty much a prayer request post- I have the 4th flight tomorrow and the final check ride Friday – if all goes well on the “practice breaking-even flight for a VIP where everything will probably break – simulated" flight tomorrow. My brain is swimming in the books, but I got some solid and reassuring advice from a Major who helped me study last night for 2 hours in preparation for today's flight; and the advice was this: “showcase your knowledge."
I wonder what spiritual application this could have for Believers? It's definitely worth thinking about. Another thing this man told me was, “by yourself you can only get to this level, (putting his hand chest high) but with someone else, you can take it to the next level and beyond!"
I couldn't agree more! Thanks “Smoke!"
Peace,
MOOP
