So this is the day of rest I've heard so much about… I mentioned yesterday that I could have waited till now to write (I'm actually writing right now on my iPhone note pad to be pasted to the WordPress app).
Sometimes waiting is possible, but I've got another theory which I posted on Facebook a week or so ago. “if you don't do some things when you first think of it, it might just be too late by the time you remember…" and in my case, sometimes I never remember those things I think about just before going to sleep. Of course the cynic would say: “well it must not have been that important" but what if it was??? And what if I was just too lazy at the time to write it down!?! Oh the time we squander! But waking up on a Sunday Morning after getting ENOUGH sleep (almost 8 hours tracked on an iphone app) – also letting Maria and Boaz stay in bed since I slept through all the feeding and changing… this is what I call redeeming the time!!! a Sunday morning redemption of it!

A while ago another FB post applying scripture to movie quotes (which I also like to do often) This came to me as Ferris Bueler's interpretation of James 4:14 & Psalm 90:12: “Life goes by pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
And taking that notion a step further: thoughts can go by pretty fast too, and if we don't stop to write them down, we could miss them as well.
Here's to seizing the carp as a good fisherman would say! The moment of NOW is truly a gift and that's why they call it the present. And those who are present are Not Outside Waiting…
Peace,
Adam
