Many of the important lessons from life are quickly learned but take much time to put into practice. I've got an analogy for this process that I've shared with my 30 Mighty Men many months ago. I call it “Building up the Superhighway" and that highway connects your head to your heart and your heart to your hands and feet.
We all know it takes TIME to travel, but I don't think we realize that it also takes TIME for these lessons to travel from our heads (where we learn and know them) to our hearts (where we understand and believe them) to our hands and feet (where we actually do something about them).
I would say that some people understand this very well, but even the best of us can forget it from time to time. Just look at Paul in Romans 7, he didn't do the things he wanted and the things he didn't want to do, that's what he did! He had these things in his head and heart, but they hadn't traveled to his hands and feet yet… And that's the same with you and me too! That's why we have to work on the transportation system between these key destinations in each of us: the 3 H's… Of course I believe as Jesus said “with man it's impossible, but with God all things are possible." And I think Paul got that too; thats why he said: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"

So ask the “Stone that the builders rejected" to give you some help building up your road from head to toe, because it takes a long time to roll down the windy, rocky, dirt road, but you can get there lickedy split on a superhighway. God might even through in His flux capacitor… which makes time travel possible! The Y stands for YHWY…. No way!!! Ya way!
Peace,
Adam
