Staff pastors also include Robin Boisvert (Adult), Todd Keeler (Student Life), Philip Martin (Adult), Jamie Leach (Covenant Life School); non-staff pastors Pat Ennis, John Leconte, Jose Troche, Dave Calderone, Roddy Aguirre, Frank Fuentes. All male — confirmed complementarian pastoral team. Plurality of elders is transparent — upgrading leadership to green.

Assessment
Covenant Life Church has an extraordinary and complicated history. Founded in 1977 by C.J. Mahaney as a charismatic fellowship, it evolved into one of America's most theologically sophisticated Reformed evangelical churches — hosting conferences, producing discipleship resources, and nurturing a generation of serious Bible-saturated Christians. But CLC also became ground zero for significant controversies: the Sovereign Grace Churches abuse lawsuit (2012), C.J. Mahaney's leadership scandals, and most publicly — Joshua Harris (pastor 2004-2015) publicly deconstructing his faith in 2019 and renouncing Christianity. Current pastor Mark Mitchell leads a congregation that has weathered enormous institutional trauma. The theological framework (Reformed, complementarian, Gospel-centered) remains intact on paper. The questions are about institutional health, pastoral culture, and whether the congregation has genuinely processed and healed from years of controversy. Worth visiting with eyes wide open.
