Andy Stanley is arguably the most influential — and most concerning — megachurch pastor in America. He holds a DTS MDiv and is Charles Stanley's son, so he knows orthodox theology. His deliberate departure from it is therefore more troubling, not less. Stanley has told Christians to 'unhitch' from the Old Testament, avoided the word 'inerrant,' and in 2023 his church hosted events acknowledging same-sex couples. North Point Ministries reaches ~30,000+ weekly and has planted hundreds of churches — all carrying this compromised DNA. RED — the reach makes the drift more dangerous, not less. Not recommended.
