The Trinity Church is Mark Driscoll's post-Mars Hill comeback church in Scottsdale, AZ. Theologically, Driscoll is one of the strongest Reformed voices in America — his Christology, soteriology, complementarian gender theology, and expository preaching are excellent. He has been one of the most influential voices for masculine Christianity. However, the Mars Hill collapse (2014) involved serious allegations of spiritual abuse, authoritarian leadership, and plagiarism. Driscoll was removed by his own elder board. The critical question is whether the pattern has changed. Visit with discernment and evaluate the accountability structure before committing your family.
