Linen is a fine cloth woven from flax — the Scriptural fabric of priesthood, burial, and glory. Aaron and his sons ministered in linen garments specifically prescribed by God (Exodus 28:39-43; Leviticus 16:4). Christ’s body was wrapped in fine linen and laid in the tomb (Matthew 27:59; John 19:40); the same linen was found in the empty tomb folded neatly on resurrection morning (John 20:6-7). The Bride of Revelation 19 is clothed in "fine linen, clean and white," and the text interprets the symbol: "the fine linen is the righteousness of saints" (Revelation 19:8). From priestly service to grave-cloth to wedding-garment, linen runs the whole biblical line.

The modern bride prefers polyester and calls it progress.
Revelation says the Lamb's Bride is arrayed in fine linen, clean and white. The cloth is specified — and the meaning is given: the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Holiness is not an accessory; it is the wedding dress. A Church that shrugs at sanctification is a Bride in rags insisting the Groom will love her anyway.
Christ loves His Bride and is sanctifying her still (Eph 5:26). The linen is being woven every day she says no to sin and yes to obedience. The garment is not earned; it is given — but it is worn or forfeited. Come to the wedding; wear the linen.
