Verb
To Fly

Definition

To fly, to move through the air. Used in Revelation of an eagle (or angel) flying in midheaven, proclaiming God's messages.

Usage & Theological Significance

In Revelation, an eagle 'flying in midair' cries out triple woe to the inhabitants of the earth (Revelation 8:13). Angels also 'fly' in midheaven proclaiming the eternal gospel (Revelation 14:6). God's final messages are delivered with urgency and speed — flying, not walking — because time is short.
