Achiezer led Dan in the census, camp arrangement, and wilderness march (Numbers 1:12; 7:66; 10:25). The word ezer -- used for Eve and for God as Israel's helper -- is deeply theological. God's help flows through covenant community. Christ is with us always (Matthew 28:20).
