Toaphah (H8443) means strength, abundance, or height — the surpassing greatness of something. It is used of the strength of wild oxen, the abundance of riches, and the surpassing height of mountain peaks. The word conveys awesome, overflowing power and resource.

Numbers 23:22 and 24:8 use toaphah of the wild ox's strength attributed to Israel through God's power — a divine strength that no human enemy can overcome.
